Overview
A QR code app that reads and generates codes. It reads codes on labels, flyers and websites with the camera, and creates custom codes to share links, text, contacts, locations or Wi-Fi access.
What the app does
- Fast QR code reading with the device camera, for URLs, contacts, events, locations, Wi-Fi and more.
- Custom QR code generation for links, text, contacts, locations and Wi-Fi.
- Sharing generated codes directly from the app.
- Saving codes to the gallery.
- Light and dark themes, with no ads.
Technical decisions
- BLoC (flutter_bloc) for state management, keeping camera and generation logic out of the widgets.
- mobile_scanner for camera-based reading and qr_flutter for generation.
- permission_handler to request camera and storage access only when needed.
- image_picker, image and image_gallery_saver to work with images and save generated codes to the gallery.
- share_plus for sharing.
